it's been a while...

it's a little difficult to believe it has been several months since i have updated my blog. time just seems to get away from me these days. i was just thinking about my blog the other day and figured i would post a little update for everyone.
first of all, for the better part of this year, i was working quite a bit. there were several weeks where i was working 80-85 hours a week. for a good reason, though. i have definitely found a new passion. i enjoy traveling. as i have stated in my prior posts, i have been back and forth from nyc a couple of times. i really enjoy it out there. also, just a couple of weeks ago, i got back to the states from a trip to europe. i spent a month abroad vacationing in england, france, and italy. i was out there by myself and it was quite enjoyable! definitely a culture shock! i enjoyed visiting, but i don't think i would really want to live outside of the country. i guess it's just what i am used to. i definitely plan to go back, though. i had posted about 800 pictures on my bookface page. they are all on there if anyone would like to see them.
next spring, and friend and i are planning to visit seattle. probably only a week there, but that is a place i have been wanting to see for a while. i think spring would be a good time to visit and be able to see the countryside around seattle and not just the city.
i am leaving in a couple weeks for south carolina. i have family out there and figured it would be a good way to travel and see more of this beautiful country. i may even plan to stay out there. who knows?
to be honest, i am planning to leave california. actually, i have been planning this for a while. i have been wanting to get out of the valley, at least. i was considering moving to the coast, but that didn't work out due to "friendships lost", i guess you could say. however, i will keep that drama off here. so, i love cali, but i just think it's time for me to see more of the world. eventually, i plan to come back, but for now, i want to see what else is out there. california is in my blood, though, so this will always be home to me. the plan is east coast for a year or two, just to check it out. then, we will go from there. maybe i will come back after that, or maybe i will find something else. time will tell. although, i am looking forward to the possibilities!
until next time. talk latter.
