i bought a donut... ONE donut for 85 cents. and the dude gives me a receipt. are you serious? lol what in the world am i going to use a receipt for a donut for? is someone going to stop me on the way out of the store to confirm my purchase? you know, like costco does. lol am i going to be called upon to prove i bought this donut? or am i supposed to file the receipt with my taxes? "...and there's another 85 cents... oh yeah! take that, uncle sam!" i mean, seriously, it's 85 CENTS! not even a dollar. why is there any reason to bring ink and paper into this transaction? i'll just give you the money and you just give me the donut. makes sense, right? ok, i just thought that was funny.
anyways, things are going well for me. i have been working quite a bit, lately. actually, pretty much every day. i like the paycheck, but working every day gets pretty old pretty fast. i still enjoy my job, don't get me wrong. just working every day kinda sucks. just a couple more weeks, though.

maybe he gave you the receipt just in case you didn't like the doughnut and you wanted your money back, all 85 cents worth, and they need a way to prove that you actually paid for it. lol
Wow. I admire someone who can go into a donut shop and buy ONE donut. I usually buy six donut holes. Of course that's two lemon filled, two raspberry filled, and two cream filled. They're easier to eat on my way to church Sunday morning.
well, i don't think they would appreciate it if i ate part of the donut and then tried to return it. it's 85 cents. lol who is seriously going to be THAT cheap? if you don't like it, then just buy another one. no one wants to buy your half-eaten donut. lol and i don't really like donuts so that is why i was able to buy only one.
